La Cañada Unified School District (LCUSD) encompasses the attractive residential community of La Cañada Flintridge, thirteen miles north of the Los Angeles Civic Center in a picturesque section of the foothills below Angeles National Forest. LCUSD is a high achieving K-12 district characterized as forward-looking, involved, and supportive. The district operates three elementary schools, a middle school, and a comprehensive high school. Using Helios has been a great time saver for LCUSD. By onboarding new employees quicker, the team can focus on other tasks that they wouldn’t necessarily have time for during the day. With the Helios Employee Portal, district employees can add documents to their e-profiles freeing up time for personnel to focus on additional projects. LCUSD has saved approximately 402 hours during the previous school year.
Debra enjoys looking at her annual savings report and says that “what that actually translates to for us is many weeks saved in terms of what our staff is able to do now that Helios has automated quite a bit of the workload for us.”
