Easy and user-friendly Helios helping schools and district users make their lives easier
September 11, 2023
San Ramon, CA
Helios Ed is excited to launch the latest version of their Helios solution for K-12 schools and districts called the Sunrise version. Helios Sunrise is designed to provide users with a completely new look and feel and an exceptionally streamlined user-friendly experience.
It makes it easier to find the information users are looking for in organized sections. Helios also features user-friendly walk-through guides with step-by-step instructions on making the most out of the product.
Reports are an integral part of Helios. And now with Sunrise, creating reports is even easier with a new and improved report designer, which enables users to preview the report as they are building it. Users can filter reports on a variety of data and criteria to slice and dice the information they need.
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is becoming increasingly mainstream now. Helios has leveraged AI to automatically create fillable forms for users. All they need to do is upload a PDF file and Helios will layout the fields and create a fillable form in a few seconds.
Administrators often find it daunting to get forms or documents signed by employees. Helios Sunrise enables administrators to send forms and documents for employee signatures with just a few clicks. Tracking who has signed it is easy with a report.
In addition, the upgraded Helios mobile app keeps employees in the know with text messages and push notifications. These new forms of communication help keep employees informed of district updates and substitute assignments.
School districts are already loving the new version. “The new Helios is so user-friendly and clean. It is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for,” said an HR administrator at a school district that uses Helios for their paperless processes.
Helios Ed is proud to be an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Tier Services Partner and has successfully passed the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR). The FTR allows AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in their software or solutions. The FTR helps AWS Partners identify AWS Well-Architected best practices specific to their software. The FTR assesses an AWS Partner’s service offering against a specific set of best practices most critical for customer success. The FTR is a detailed review of Helios Ed’s software solution and to pass it, Helios Ed has to adhere to a set of 40+ best practices relating to security, reliability, and operational excellence.
With 256-bit SSL encryption in transit and at rest, top-tier secure cloud hosting, and several other measures adopted for security, Helios is even more secure and responsive. This provides users with better data privacy and protection.
Designed by K-12 educators especially for K-12, Helios streamlines HR and Business processes and helps schools go paperless and be efficient. Helios makes life easier by minimizing the risks of compliance and streamlining your processes. The mission of Helios is to enable schools stay efficient and compliant while saving resources that can be redirected to student learning. Helios strongly values feedback from partners and is thrilled to launch the new Sunrise version of the product schools and districts already love. With their latest version, schools and districts will have more tools to make their lives easier than ever before.
