How is your district doing with remote learning and the budget needed for it? Looking for more funding at this time? We’ve got your back!
Our COVID Funding webinar was recorded Friday, May 29th. We discussed how the CARES Act is helping fund districts for remote learning. In addition to the CARES Act, a newer funding source has become available: Learning Loss Mitigation Funding. These are funds for LEA’s to support academic achievement and mitigate learning loss related to COVID-19 school closures, appropriating $5,334,997,000 from three different funding sources: GEER, Coronavirus Relief and state General funds.
Lots of information and resources to guide you in receiving available funds are shared in the webinar. Here’s some of the links:
- Office of Elementary and Secondary Education
- National Alliance for Public Charter Schools
- National Governors Association
- Grantmakers for Education
- Charter School Capital
- FEMA
